Custom Home Theater

This client had a set of decent, but larger speakers he wanted to integrate into his new home theater in his new house. We were asked for recommendations on where to install the theater in a rather open basement, and how to utilize the surround sound speakers and keep things looking neat. The house had a large built-in wall unit that was recessed into the wall that the client was all to happy to remove. We suggested removing the wall unit and placing the speakers in the pocket left by the old wall unit. We had to close the wall space up a bit, and patch the holes from in-wall speakers the previous owner had installed. We installed in-ceiling speakers to complete this 7.1 surround sound system. A 4K movie projector and 133” acoustically transparent projector screen, that allows the sound to pass through from the speakers placed behind it offer an incredible visual and audial experience. The amplifier and other equipment is hidden away in the unfinished basement and everything is controlled via a Control4 remote control or a Control4 mobile app
